Blue Planet, 2017

In this work bioactive glass powder has been used on ordinary sodalime glass. The glass powder transforms into hard, cracking white ceramic layer during blowing. The surface textrue reminds of floes, which is apt considering that in its normal use as biomaterial, bioactive glass blends in the surrounding tissues by dissolution.
